Also, so far, we have raised over $12,000 for Leukemia research. If you would still like to make a contribution to Leukemia research, it's never too late to donate (or donate again) to a good cause. This year, the Leukemia society will raise nearly $200 million for Leukemia and Lymphoma research.http://pages.teamintraining.org/mn/lifetri10/OssyPosse
Participating in the Leukemia Society triathlon team has been a rewarding experience. While I do feel sorry for myself from time-to-time and I definitely feel so sad for Barb, everyone on the triathlon team has their own heartbreaking and inspiring story about loved ones who have had to face cancer. Before practice, we have a "mission moment" when someone shares a personal experience.
Some people on the team are not very athletic, and never thought that they could do something as physically demanding as a triathlon. However, they are all motivated, as we are, to contribute to the lives of others by supporting finding a cure for blood cancer.
Dear Darrell~~Hopefully your training is coming along well, and I'm glad it has been a good experience for you. July 10 will be here before you know it. Barb would be so happy and proud of your involvement and fundraising for the Leukemia Society.
