Update - June 5 - Day 31
After a month in the hospital, Barb's overall sense of well-being continues to improve with more sleep and food. She did have to rest her head on my sholder this morning, which seemed to make her feel better.
The big surge in her white blood cells hasn't occured yet. The doctor just said that she needs to have patience. I also tried to cheer her up by remindering her that we are old -- and things take longer when you're old.
