Time Getting Shorter

Barb continues to sleep & rest most of the time, and is very weak. She has difficulty communicating with us, but she can hear and understand us. She still enjoys listening to the O'Reilly Factor on Fox News, and starts to glow when she hears our grandchildren.

  1. Dear Darrell & Pat...I'm praying for you that you might have peace and strength in these waning hours knowing that you have gone the distance caring for Barb. We all are so thankful to know that our dear friend (and big sister to the Noll brood) has been surrounded by your endless love and devotion all these months. Barb faced this final adversity with her usual uncomplaining spirit and good cheer, remaining steadfast in her loyalty to Fox News and 'The Rush'. Love, Faye

  3. Dear Barb and Darrell ~~ what a beautiful picture you chose for today's note. Thank you and Pat for taking such good care of Barb at home. She knows you both and your children have done everything possible to make these past five weeks at home as comfortable as possible. Bless the little grandchildren in making Barb perk up and smile. Thank you again for continuing to send notes on this blog. You have a wonderful family and dear neighbors and friends. The pictures you have shared throughout this time show a beautiful and gracious woman who has continued to show her strength and courage. Bless you all. Give her a little pat from me. Love, Pam

  4. Darrell, please tell Barb I have been following your blog since the beginning and am glad she isn't in any pain and gets to see her grandchidren and family. Tell her I am listening to Fox all the time also but it makes me so angry that we can't do anything about this President and Congress. My love and prayers are with you all as the time passes.
    Kiss her for me, Rita

Barb was a witness at my wedding, did you know that? The marriage wasn't successful, but my beautiful family certainly is What a wonderful person you are Barb, thanks and love from all the Fylpaa's, Love, Stephane Fylpaa-Asher
