Well ... after another tough period, Barb has some additional anti-nausea medication which has made her Chemo more tolerable. So, she has been able to start eating and drinking better again - which is helping to build back her strength.
Barb - Did doctor's try the scolpamine patch? I rely on it for air travel and when Kerry had surgery last week they used it for her for post surgery nausea. I realize that maybe it is not right for you, but the good part is that it is a patch, so you can't throw it up, the bad part is dry mouth and loss of near vision while it is in place. I think the bad parts are both better than possible nausea...In any case hope what they are doing is making things more tolerable and that you are still trying to live in the moment (or a less nauseated moment!). Love, Julie
Hope the new medicine works and you feel better very soon.
ReplyDeleteLovingly and with prayers for your recovery,

Hi Barb ~~ So glad you are feeling better. That hamburger makes me hungry. Maybe next week we can have one together. Love, Pam
