Last Minute Things

Barb's strength has been holding up reasonably well so far. However, her strength is slipping away.We have been helping her do some last minute things, ie, visiting with friends and relatives, passing along some mementos, making a video for our grandchildren, etc.

  1. I know I've said it before, but I'm simply heartbroken. My entire family loves you so much, Barb. It's always been such a treat to see you, especially when I've been back in town since Jeanine and I have become adults and I've moved away. I'm so grateful to have had you in my life, and am equally grateful for the amazing friend you have been to my mom. I'm at a loss to convey how sorrowful I am. All my love, Rachel

  4. Dear Aunty Barb and Uncle Darrell ~ I sit here trying to figure out what to say... I have agonized over it for days, hoping to see "the" posting that I and everyone else wants to see. All I can think of is if I could live my life to be a third as full as yours and Uncle Darrell's, I will be the most blessed person in the world.

    I love you,
    Carolyn

  5. Dearest Barb and Darrell, I also don't know what to say except how sorry I am and wish I could have spent some time with you before you got so sick. You have your beautiful children and grandchildren surrounding you and lot of love coming your way from all your friends and family.
    Lovingly,
    Rita and Sheldon
