Slow Progress

It's been a week since Barb has been back in the hospital. Her fevers have lessened, but she still gets low grade fevers -- which affect how she feels and is a concern to her doctors.So, they are reviewing her current antibiotics with the Med Center's Infectious Disease doctors -- to be sure that she is taking the best mix to completely knock out the infection.

She hasn't been returning phone calls this week (I noticed 24 voice messages on her cell phone) to try to get as much sleep as possible.

    Thanks for the update Darrell, I was getting worried. Hopefully, they can get a handle on the antibiotics and start her feeling better. Barb doesn't have to return my messages, she can just listen to my crazy messages!! Love ya!

    Me, too. No need to call. I just wanted you to know I was thinking about you. Get rest and feel better. Annie told me she stopped by on her way home today. I know you aren't feeling totally perky. Lots of hugs from me to you. Love, Pam
