Well … after about 24 hours of poisoning, Barb is progressing on schedule. Her white blood cell count is dropping along with her red cells – which is normal. So, she is getting a blood transfusion today to get her red blood level back up. Her gum inflammation is going down, and no Chemo side effects have shown up yet.
She seems to be tolerating the Chemo drugs relatively well so far – but then, it’s not me hooked up to those IV bags. Her spirits & attitude is quite positive.
